If you’re a teacher, you’re going to especially love this interview! Like many of our CCA students, Erin comes from a teaching background but was looking to make a change.
After having her second child, she decided that the combination of her maternity leave and summer break was the perfect time to find and train for a new career.
She discovered copywriting and, after joining the CCA, decided to give herself a goal of replacing her teaching income in the five months she had before school was scheduled to begin.
Spoiler alert: It didn’t take her five months…it took her six weeks.
Oh, and did I mention that she did all of this right in the middle of a global pandemic? (Some industries may be slowing down, but copywriting is doing just fine, thank you!)

Pretty impressive, right? But at the same time, Erin did a great job of conveying that it’s completely doable: It’s just a matter of following the steps and doing the work.
Are you inspired? We hope so!
