In honor of Filthy Rich Writer’s 10-year anniversary, we’re celebrating throughout 2022 and wanted to touch base with some of the earliest copywriting students Nicki worked with and trained. On today’s episode of the Build Your Copywriting Business podcast, Nicki and Kate are catching up with Jason Schneider, a copywriter with a decade of experience writing for a variety of brands, including Jetsetter, Thrillist, Getty Images, and more.
Jay talks about using both sides of the brain, balancing both creativity and strategy, as well as why he prefers working as an on-staff copywriter as opposed to going full-time freelance (though he also does take on freelance projects!). If you’re curious to hear what a copywriting career can look like 10 years in, you’ll want to hear Jay’s story!
