[1:18] Nicki and Kate introduce today’s topic: the relationship between artificial intelligence and copywriting. We understand why you may be concerned that AI will take over, but the good news is you shouldn’t spend any energy worrying about an AI takeover.
[2:22] Nicki explains that AI’s fundamental elements ensure it can never replace copywriters, starting with the fact that it’s not in AI’s nature to be creative.
[5:40] Kate notes that concepting is actually a larger part of copywriting than writing. The imagination and strategizing that concepting requires is something that AI can’t do.
[7:20] Nicki illustrates that AI can never be the partner to clients that copywriters can. Copywriters sit down and speak with clients and always have an eye out for new was to grow their business, unlike AI.
[8:40] When AI is able to emotionally connect with clients and understand their true desires and goals, then it will have a chance against copywriters. But, since that day isn’t here and won’t be in our lifetime, copywriters can be confident they won’t be replaced with AI.
[12:10] Nicki and Kate close the show and remind us all that AI isn’t capable of doing all of the things a copywriter does beyond just the writing. Rest easy knowing that you’re too skilled to be replbe replaced by AI!
