[1:00] Today we are talking about personal finances when it comes to your freelance clients and freelances businesses.
[5:20] It’s okay to take into account how difficult a client is when structuring the pricing.
[7:30] You don’t always remember if a client was a good experience or not, so it’s helpful to have notes outlining the experience, so you can charge accordingly if you choose to work with them again int he future.
[9:50] It’s important to not put all of your eggs in one basket and have multiple income streams (ie. multiple clients).
[10:30] As you gain experience as a copywriter and have different clients you will learn to manage your pitching and outreach to new clients.
[15:30] When working as a freelancer you need to watch where your income is going, and direct your income appropriately into savings for taxes and retirement.
[19:50] When investing money into retirement or taxes or savings, be sure you have made that money first.
