[5:40] When writing a pitch set a timer for yourself and just what you can accomplish in that time. It helps to keep you on track and remove the emotions from the situation.
[7:05] Pretend it’s not a business you are pitching, but that you are writing to a friend. Don’t allow yourself to become too invested in a single pitch.
[8:00] Pitching gets better and easier with practice. You can help yourself to understand that this is the next step, but it’s not life or death. If you send a pitch and get no response, it’s okay.
