[1:00] Our hosts, Nicki and Kate, begin today’s bonus episode by telling us the reasons they LOVE copywriting, starting with flexibility!
[3:10] Nicki recounts one of her favorite copywriting memories: working from a coffee shop in Barcelona. She loves copywriting because she really can work from anywhere.
[4:30] Another reason why Nicki loves copywriting is that she is never faced with a blank page. You always have a creative brief as a starting point. Copywriting is like facing a puzzle and using creativity to solve it. It’s the perfect balance of challenging and fulfilling and she is never bored!
[6:45] Kate loves that she isn’t tied to an office chair. When she has free time during the day she can use it however she chooses, in whatever way is most productive in her life.
[8:50] Another thing that Nicki loves about copywriting is seeing her work out in the world, knowing she is helping a business and consumer is fulfilling and validating!
[11:00] Kate finds so much joy in the variety of the work in copywriting, especially in the different mediums.
[13:30] Our hosts really like the level of control that being a freelance copywriter brings. They can work as much or as little as they want, and can tailor that to their schedules and financial needs.
